Just Hanging Out

Actually, more like hanging up, but we'll get to that later. Cecilia woke up very happy around 6:20 a.m. this morning, after sleeping through the whole night. (She had a little cold recently and would wake up because she couldn't breathe.) I went in to get her at about 6:30. I like to let her play a little on her own when she wakes up like that. It seems a shame to interrupt her private playtime.

She had a great big bowl of oatmeal, plus applesauce with cherries, and washed it down with a bottle. Such a big eater these days! Here she is enjoying "Little Einsteins" with Grandma while I get ready to go into school:
She is getting so big, I cannot believe it! (Sorry for the Quincy quote. If you watch Little Einsteins, you understand how the phrases just jump out of your mouth sometimes.)

Ceci had a great day at day care, where she spent the day attempting to explore the AC vent. Not a big deal, except it's located under the jumper seat. Deanna and Summer were kept on their toes trying to keep Cecilia from being squashed. No tears involved in dropping her off or picking her up today. Yesterday must have been a fluke.

Chris and I had work to do at OSU - he was working on details for the trip to Carnegie Hall next May, while I did some things to help get ready for the season opener tomorrow (Go Beavers!)

Grandma Joani had some alone time today, but was very glad to see her "Lily Bits" when we got home:
This evening, I decided that it was time to hang some pictures on the wall. As I pulled out pictures and packing paper, I didn't pay attention to where the paper was going. Ceci didn't seem to mind:
She even got in on the action to help us sort through the pictures:

Before we got anything up, we had dinner. Ceci enjoyed a mix of carrots, peas and spinach, while the rest of us cleaned out the leftovers. Then it was bath and bed for the little one while we hung most of the pictures, avoiding the hall outside her room.

Tomorrow's a big day: Ceci and Grandma get most of the day together while Chris and I are involved with the football game. See you later!
